THE HOUSE is a local gathering of the household of God—the Church. We are followers of Jesus Christ seeking to live out his prayer for his Church and God’s instructions and expectations for the local assembly of believers. We meet in homes because we believe they offer the most effective environment to:

• truly live as family in Christ; 

​

• gather regularly in devotion to the teachings of Scripture, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer; 

​

• encourage every member to exercise the manifestation of the Spirit given to each as a gift for the building up of the church and the equipping of all believers for the work of ministry; 

​

• live out God’s mission for the Church in proclaiming and demonstrating the gospel to the world around us and making disciples of Jesus Christ; and 

​

• develop intimate relationships in which our spiritual maturity—our relationship with the Father, our surrendering of every aspect of our lives to the lordship of Jesus, and our yielding to the guidance of the Holy Spirit—is encouraged, celebrated, and tested.
